Horseradish and Apricot Dip

Equal parts of

  • Newman’s Horseradish
  • Apricot Jam
  • Mint Jelly
  • Newman’s Seeded Mustard

Mix 250gm of this combination with 250gm cream cheese when ready to serve

 

Seafood Sauce

Into 1 cup of mayonnaise add:

  • 4 drops of Tabasco sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Newman’s Horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce

Mix well

 

Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup

  • 2 sweet potatoes (diced)
  • 2 teaspoons Newmans Crushed Ginger
  • 1 medium onion ( diced)
  • 1 litre chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

Method: sauté onion in butter or oil until golden. Add ginger and potato, sauté a further two minutes.
Cover with stock and simmer until potato is soft. Puree
Thin to preferred consistency with cream of milk.
Reheat, do not boil.

 

Basting Sauce

2 tablespoons each of honey, soy sauce, teriyaki.
Mix with 1 teaspoon Newman’s Chilli-Garlic and 1 teaspoon olive oil.
Brush onto meat while cooking.

 

Chilli Peanut Dip

  • 250gm soft cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons crunchy peanut paste
  • 1 teaspoon Newman’s Chilli-Garlic

Method: Mix all ingredients together.
Flavour develops overnight but van be used immediately.
